Clothes moths and carpet moths are an increasing problem in London, particularly in older properties with natural-fibre carpets and wardrobes full of wool. The common clothes moth (Tineola bisselliella) and the case-bearing clothes moth (Tinea pellionella) cause damage to wool, silk, fur, feathers, and other natural fibres.
